Western Odisha (KOSHAL) comprises of the entire western and southern part of Odisha covering Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Sonepur, Balangir, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Boudh, Nabrangpur, Koraput, Malkangiri and Raygada districts, and part of Angul district (basically Athamallik sub-division) speak kosali language. Let us not create controversy by restricting it to only three undivided districts of Kalahandi, Balangir and Sambalpur, which is totally incorrect. JAI KOSHAL!
