A great achievement. UCE, Burla had the quality and standard in providing technical education for more than last five decades. It was the pride of western Odisha. Conforming it to a University Status in 2009 was the first step in recognising its contribution for technical education in the country. Now, UGC has provided recognition to 12 of its departments proves its calibre in discharging technical education further. It is a milestone in its chequered history. Salute to all those who had toiled hard to bring this Institution to this stage.
