A very lively and eye opening debate for the western Odisha. Development is a process and is evolutionary in nature. No single reason is responsible for the backwardness of the western region of odisha. All the arguments cited in the news article as an offshoot of the hot debate plus many more are the responsible factors for its underdevelopment. Above all, leadership and common men also contribute directly for development of a society. Education and employment (determinants for the source of income, not necessarily only assured job in Govt/pvt institutions, may be trading/ entrepreneurship also) are two main contributors for a civil society. The coming days may enlighten us by our focus on education and employment in the region. Let us hope for the best and fought for injustice unitedly.
