Orissa launches e-Abhijog facility

Bhubaneswar, July 31 (PTI) Susanta Rout, an ailing man from Orissa”s tribal-dominated Kalahandi district, was the instant beneficiary of a web-based grievance redressal and monitoring system launched by the state government today. Rout, suffering from serious ailments including kidney failure, came online seeking assistance from Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who inaugurated the e-Abhijog facility, for his treatment.
The Kalahandi district collector forwarded Rout”s application online to Chief Minister”s Relief Fund. An amount of Rs 30,000 was sanctioned for his treatment.
Another beneficiary was Basanta Maharana, a 55-year- old woman from Gobindpur area in Cuttack district. Frustrated at her failure to convince district-level officials the need for construction of a 1,100 metre road in her village, she apprised the chief minister about the same.
Maharana”s grievance was immediately addressed, a senior official, who was present at the launch, said. “The e-Abhijog system has a variety of features to help people.
A citizen can now forward any grievance online from anywhere in the world at any time,” Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said after inaugurating the facility. The new system was implemented by Orissa branch of the National Informatics Centre (NIC).
The system facilitates online transfer of grievances to concerned departments, he said, adding senior officers can monitor the process on a real time basis for speedy redressal. Besides facilitating access of grievances to the government, the system also allows its users to monitor progress made on his/her complaints, state chief secretary Tarunkanti Mishra added.

Sir,
E-abhijog is a teethless tiger.I filed my metition on 10.1.2011.On 22.2.2011 it is known that W&C.D Department had written letter no.No.1667 dt.25.01.2011 to the Collector,Bargarh,which is still pending.Either Collector,Bargarh has not taken any acation or the government in W&CD Department have not taken desciplinary acation against the defaulting officer or the e-abhijog concerned belongs to honourable chief minister is not taking the issue seriously.This is nothing but negligence.As I have been deprived of getting justice,I feel from my bitter experience this e-abhijog should be abolished.

Sir,
E-Abhijog , what I think is two way traffic.One petitioner can remind/see view acation status-is welcome.But after reaching the petition to the concerned department afaterwards acation taken is not conveyed to the petitioner,due to which the petitioner is in dark. Like RTI ,There should be time limit in e-abhbijog e.g. one month or two months. So that, the grievence cell and petitioner both will be alert to know the result.Further, KKD should take initiative to know the status of petitioners of Western Orissa.

‘Gouria Tanti’ one of the major cast in orissa is enrolled in which catagory of cast e,g 1.General, 2.SCBC, 3. OBC, 4. S. C, 5. S.T ? still now I have got no answar. Is it a dead website? If so I need no answar. But I think it is a cheating to the inocent people of Orissa.

My grievence was registered online vide Ref No. (CMOFF/E/2010/00522), dtd. 06.08.2010.
Already 8 and Half Months have passed but my grievence is not redressed yet.
Kindly make possible help in this regard to expedite the Redressal.

my self Mr.rajesh panda,at\po-patkulanda,via-BARPALI,dist-BARGARH.i have a complain of panchyat office, BARPALI block, where all the govt. fund are misused.they could not any development work in this panchyat area, so,please take necessary action to involve those person.
